A cocktail doesn’t mean that it has to be alcoholic. There are some non alcoholic cocktails as well which you can prepare right at your home with some fruits. This is an inexpensive way for making easy cocktails. You don’t have to spend your money anywhere out. This article tells about how to make cocktails with 2 healthy fruits: orange and apple. Below is the recipe.

How to make cocktails with Apple and Orange?


Ingredients Required

  • 2 ½ cups orange segments (peeled as well as de-seeded)
  • 1 ½ cups apple pieces (as you cut, rub them with lemon juice to prevent darkening)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (avoid this ingredient if you want to keep it natural)
  • A dash of lemon juice
  • If required add some salt and pepper (optional)

Preparation Method

  • Step 1: Blend orange segments, apple pieces, sugar and little water in a mixer at speed 1 for about 30 seconds and then at speed 3 for 30 seconds.
  • Step 2: Sieve through a nylon sieve or muslin. Keep the clear juice aside.
  • Step 3: Put the pulp back into the jar with some cold water. Run the mixer again for about 20 seconds. Sieve again. Mix the juice with that from step 2. Discard pulp.
  • Step 4: Mix the remaining cold water with the juice in order to make it 7 cups.
  • Step 5: Check and adjust the taste accordingly.
  • Step 6: Chill and serve it by sprinkling with salt and pepper. Garnish it with a few orange or apple segments.
