The most anticipated aspect of this movie would be Natalie Portman donning the role of a Female God of Thunder. She lifts up Thor’s hammer while he is still “unworthy”. Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and characters from Guardians of the Galaxy are rumoured to make an appearance in this film.

5| Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Release Date: 7 May 2021

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

The film is expected to begin shooting next year. After saving the Avengers from trouble and seeing endless possibilities to how the world could end, Doctor Strange is ready to fly solo. There is a lot of speculation about who the villain of the movie could be although it seems like Mordo could be the one. But the post-credit scene of the first movie seemed to show another character who could be Strange’s potential nemesis.

6| Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Release Date: 12 February 2021

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi is a Chinese-American born in China. And his father trains him in the martial arts right from his infancy. This is the first time the comic is being picturized on screen. Canadian actor Simu Liu will play the lead role of Shang-Chi. He will be Marvel’s first Asian lead.

7| The Eternals

Release Date: 6 November 2020

The Eternals

The surprise addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was much-loved Angelina Jolie who was present at the SD Comic-Con while the movie was announced. Jolie is apparently in training already and is going to put 10 times more hard work than she has in any action film. This movie is a sign that Marvel is exploring new avenues in the cinematic universe. According to the comic books, the Eternals are a community of super-beings that are not from Earth. Keanu Reeves (Speed) and Richard Madden (Robb Stark from Game of Thrones) have also joined the cast. This is for sure one of the most anticipated upcoming Marvel movies.

8| Black Widow

Release Date: 1 May 2020

Black Widow

Is this for real? We all saw her give up her life in exchange for the soul stone in Avengers: Endgame. So could it really be her? It sure is. That’s because this movie is a prequel to her life before she met the Avengers and everything. Black Widow was first seen in the 2010 Iron Man 2. She gave a scintillating performance and soon after, joined the Avengers. David Harbour of Stranger Things fame is also a part of the cast but details of his role are being kept hush-hush. That Hashtag Show claims that the movie will be set prior to the year 2000, that is before her Iron Man 2 appearance.
